"it seems as house music struggles to reinvent itself, electronic music goes from strength to strength. clickclickdrone are another label with a lot to offer. this compilation of artists previously featured on the label boast some familiar names, with cheju and october man amongst them. opening with z-arc and ‘field lines’ it’s a calming start, spacious tones and soothing keys wrapping you up in cinematic daydreams. And that really sets the tones for the album. boc scadet ‘ibiil’ follows up with more ambient drama. tinkling keys and drifting melodies fill the air. and so the album builds like a stunning soundtrack to a film not yet made, but forming in your mind as each track passes. the mystery of this music is founds in its personal nature, listen alone and get lost in its depth, play it to a room full of people and you lose the connection. but that is the strength of what clickclickdrone have here too, music for the private moments, space to think and dream. enjoy." - untitledmusic, 03.05

"cheju takes it to 3am with his bass controlling, room spinning, distortion mating theme 'datec'. double awesome ... 'blue chair red chair' just really goes to emphasize what clickclickdrone are all about....quality electronica. you cannot argue with the genius of this release, just head on over to the www and introduce those new sections of your mind to the click and never look back ... it has you listening again and again. mad stuff." - tesselate, 04.05

"it's that time once again for a new release from clickclickdrone and this great little label up's the ante with a fantastic compilation at a superb price. tracks from boc scadet, z-arc, shirase, the gosub routine, colamm and more who've already released on the label plus other goodies from zainetica, mint, the rumblist, cheju, the ileon and others. deeply satisfying electronica sounds with a wide range of styles to suit every taste. marvellous stuff indeed and absolutely worth checking out immediately. recommended." - smallfish, 04.05

"oh comps we love you, we do. a sometime low-price chance to sample a labels roster before indulging in a splurge of back catalogue vacuuming, they are proper essential to our industry. so before ya know it clickclickdrone unleash a nifty 14 tracker of melodic electronica erring on the mellower, more downbeat side of things rather than the crunchy mind shagging noise some stables throw out. all consistently good are the tunes on this burgeoning imprint ... go investigate." - norman records, 04.05

"a very good compilation released by clickclickdrone and as any good label compilation this is a showcase of their artists and the different styles they represent. clickclickdrone is one of many prolific so-called cdr labels (a distinction that becomes less clear by the minute) and 'blue chair red chair' is their eight release. ccd was started and is maintained by recording artist: boc scadet. the ties to another quality label heavily featured here at the e-desert becomes apparent by a quick glance at some of the 14 contributing artists and that label would of course be the lovely boltfish recordings. another liaison is the one to the newly started october man recordings ... cheju of boltfish fame keeps the beats alive in 'datec' another great sounding effort by cheju. the beats set in dance floor mode, excellent build-up and a bouncy bassline to keep things moving forward ... a very good compilation. the recommendation is to track down ccd and buy the compilation now." - electronic desert, 05.05
